ZUSHI
Amsterdam’s conveyor belt sushi bar on the Amstel, since 1999. A full belt every night and a website that said none of it, so the belt became the site: plates ride past the copy with the menu, booking and take-away on them.

Hip-hop, funk, soul and jazz on vinyl, from a record store, label and distributor in Amsterdam. The owner runs the counter alone, so the shop online has to sell while he is with a customer and feel like crate-digging, not a theme. The whole stock, black on white; hover a sleeve and the real disc slides out.
